Abstract

The teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are a timeless beacon of guidance for all humanity. There is no aspect of human life that the Prophet (PBUH) left unaddressed, and his guidance will remain relevant until the end of time.  An in-depth study of the Seerah reveals that the Prophet (PBUH) utilized the most advanced tools and methods of his time for education. The incident of Mount Safa, the digging of the trench during the Battle of Ahzab, and the diplomatic etiquette shown in sending letters to kings exemplify his strategic use of resources. In the modern age, utilizing technology for education and training has become imperative, as today’s youth is heavily influenced by social media. Among social media platforms, YouTube stands out as a powerful medium for teaching and learning. Many individuals have gained valuable skills through YouTube and are now earning respectable livelihoods. To establish an exemplary educational system, it is essential for scholars and researchers to focus on integrating contemporary tools like YouTube into educational frameworks and policies. This study is a step in that direction, presenting YouTube as a case study for building a better educational system. It explores how this platform can be optimized for education and training, outlines strategies for its effective use, and suggests ways to shield the youth from its negative influences. The findings of this research provide actionable insights for educators and policymakers.
