Peer Review Policy

All submissions to Al-Marjān International Research Journal of Islamic & Religious Studies must conform to the journal’s Focus & Scope and Author Guidelines. Manuscripts should demonstrate originality, scientific merit, and relevance. Authors are encouraged to use plagiarism detection tools prior to submission to ensure the integrity of their work.

Review Process

  • Every submitted manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer review, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.

  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two qualified experts in the relevant field who evaluate the academic quality, originality, and contribution to the discipline.

  • Reviewers provide constructive feedback to help authors improve the clarity, quality, and rigor of their work.

  • The Editor makes the final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript, based on reviewers’ recommendations.

  • The Chief Editor oversees the publication process, taking into account the order of submission, thematic relevance, and diversity in the authorship.
