This research paper presents a comprehensive and analytical study of the role of women in Islamic da’wah (religious outreach) in the light of Islamic teachings. It underscores that the responsibility of inviting others to Allah is not confined to men; rather, women, too, have been entrusted with this noble duty. The study explores the historical role of women, especially the mothers of the Believers and female companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, in spreading the message of Islam and participating actively in religious, social, and moral reforms. Drawing on the Qur’an, Sunnah, and Seerah, the paper highlights essential qualities for female da’wah workers, such as sound knowledge, piety, wisdom, and cultural awareness. Furthermore, it examines the multifaceted contemporary challenges women face today, including atheism, Western feminist ideologies, cultural liberalism, and the negative influence of digital and social media. The paper stresses that these challenges demand a renewed, well-grounded, and context-sensitive da’wah approach by women. The research concludes with practical suggestions and a framework that empowers women to engage in meaningful and impactful da’wah, balancing traditional Islamic values with an understanding of modern societal trends. Through strategic methods and educational reform, women can play a transformative role in guiding individuals and society toward spiritual and ethical renewal.
