Abstract

Mahir ul Qadri was a distinguished Urdu writer, poet, and thinker, known for his deep spiritual insight and literary excellence. Among his many contributions to Islamic literature, he made a remarkable contribution to Seerah literature through his novelistic approach, and his work Durr-e-Yateem is widely regarded as one of the finest examples of Seerah writing in Urdu fiction. Written with emotional depth and historical accuracy, the novel narrates the life of the Prophet (PBUH) in a compelling and imaginative style. Blending narrative storytelling with authentic historical elements, Durr-e-Yateem brings the pre-Islamic Arabian society and the early days of Islam to life with vivid imagery and powerful moral lessons.
