Abstract

This article revolves around the topic of “The Beginning and Development of the Islamic Era of the History of Kashmir.” There is no doubt that this topic is of great importance as we know that Kashmir is a region of the subcontinent, its natural beauty and exemplary beauty, the sky on earth, and the eyes of kings whose religious, civilizational and cultural significance is an undeniable fact. Islam was the last to appear in this region, and it was ruled by rulers of other non-Muslim religions for two thousand years. After influencing the civilization and culture of this region, the real owner of this region decided to change its destiny and created the necessary equipment to light the candle of Islam. The Muslim sultans of Kashmir added a chapter of Islamic history to the history of this region some two thousand years later. The beginning of this golden chapter is credited to Sultan Sadruddin known as Ranchan Shah (who was in his reign 1323-1320 CE). Just as the early ancestors of Islam had priority and importance in Islamic history, in the same way, these sultans of Kashmir also have a prominent place and importance in the history of the Indian subcontinent, who changed the centuries-old infidel non-Islamic history. Therefore, the mention of these sultans, their role and the influence of this Islamic regime is very important. The Islamic history of Kashmir covers about four hundred and a half years. (1891-1339) During this period, four dynasties ruled, but the Sultans of Kashmir and the Sultans of the Mughals played a prominent role in the spread of Islam.According to the hypothesis of Kamal Radwa, incompetent rulers were imposed, and Kashmir became paradise on earth once again, the abode of the darkness of the infidels.
