Abstract

Among the districts of South Punjab, Rajanpur district is an important district. There are many personalities associated with this district who have performed religious, social and educational services. One of these social and religious figures is Maulana Ismail Sajid. He belongs to Tehsil Jamhoor. He has performed social, religious, invitational and preaching services throughout the region. While he served for the welfare of the people of the area from social aspects, he has also fulfilled the responsibility of religious and educational service. In the following lines, an introductory review of his personality and his social and religious services are being presented.
