A careful study of history reveals with utmost clarity that numerous great personalities appeared in the world, whose remarkable contributions became a means of transforming this transient realm. Among the ranks of humanity, the Prophets hold a unique and unparalleled position. They constitute the only class that has consistently served as the source of human welfare and the guiding force towards a positive direction—a fact acknowledged even by anthropologists. With the advent of the Final Prophet (peace be upon him), humankind was introduced to new dimensions of consciousness, human dignity, and intellectual awakening. He (peace be upon him) enlightened humanity with the highest teachings and standards of human honor. In short, through his teachings began a continuous chain of knowledge and wisdom that eradicated the darkness of ignorance and opened new horizons for human thought and reflection. The blessed life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) resembles an infinite ocean, from whose countless aspect’s humanity continues to derive guidance and direction. Among these aspects, one significant dimension is the Prophetic oratory (khuṭbah nabawiyyah), to which numerous scholars have contributed according to their capacities. During his lifetime, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) delivered diverse sermons. He (peace be upon him) consistently ensured the moral and educational training of his Companions; whenever he observed a matter in need of reform, he would immediately gather them and address it through his eloquent speech. These sermons of the Prophet (peace be upon him) have been preserved in authentic collections of Ḥadīth, historical sources, and works of Sīrah. This study, while undertaking a thematic analysis of these sermons, specifically focuses on their moral and educational dimensions.
